The Royal Navy came to our Diversity and Women in Leadership conference and told herecomestheboss about the opportunities for students and grads (of both sexes!) in working with them. Graduates joining the Royal Navy start on a salary of 28,216.00! Then a guaranteed promotion to lieutenant after two-years that puts you in the 35k bracket. The Royal Navy came to the Women in Leadership conference because as an equal opportunities employer, having a diverse leadership is important to them. Roughly 10% of the service are women. Everyone receives the same training, it comes down to how you do your job; are you good at what you do and do you deserve to get on.
